The Mission of THWRC is to coordinate an integrated research program to provide protection of human health and the environment at a reasonable cost. Operated at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, THWRC coordinates research, evaluation, testing, development and demonstration of alternative or innovative technologies in the minimization, destruction and handling of hazardous waste. The Texas Hazardous Research Center (THWRC) operates under the authority of the Board of Regents of the Texas State University System. Any Questions and comments can be forwarded to Dr.T. C.
