Greek Life
The Lamar University Greek Council is composed of 17 National Fraternities and Sororities. College Panhellenic Council(CPC) is the governing body for the three National Panhellenic Council chapters at LU. National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) governs the eight historically African American fraternities and sororities, while The Inter-Fraternity Council (IFC) governs the men's fraternities.

Career Center
The Career Center at Lamar University, located in the Galloway Business Building, offers a full range of services to Institute students. In this central resource location, professional staff is available to provide educational, diagnostic, and career testing.

Setzer Student Center
The Setzer Student Center is provided for the coordination of beneficial extra-curricular activities for the students, faculty, and staff of Lamar University and the Institute of Technology; recreation and cultural development; the cultivation of more responsible local, state, and national citizenship; for a more intelligent interest in, and deeper affection for, the University.

Recreational Sports
All currently enrolled Lamar University students, faculty and staff have access to university recreational facilities and offerings. The department offers Intramural Sports, Sports Clubs, Fitness and Wellness, Outdoor Recreation and Aquatics.

Student Government Association
The Student Government Association of Lamar University provides the official voice through which student opinion may be expressed and students participate in the overall policy and decision making of the University community.

Student Health Center
The Student Health Center of Lamar University is dedicated to promoting the health and wellness of the university population by offering quality medical and psychological services to the students of Lamar University and Lamar Institute of Technology.

University Press
University student publications include the University Press, the student newspaper published twice a week during long terms. The Student Publications Advisory Board serves as the principle advisory body for the University Press. Mr. Howard Perkins is the Director of the University Press, Offices are located in room 200, Setzer Student Center.
