Center The Career Center at Lamar University, located in the Galloway
Business Building, offers a full range of services to Institute students.
In this central resource location, professional staff is available to
provide educational, diagnostic, and career testing.
Setzer Student Center
The Setzer Student Center is provided for the coordination of beneficial extra-curricular
activities for the students, faculty, and staff of Lamar University and the Institute of
Technology; recreation and cultural development; the cultivation of more responsible
local, state, and national citizenship; for a more intelligent interest in, and deeper
affection for, the University.
Recreational Sports
All currently enrolled Lamar University students, faculty and
staff have access to university recreational facilities and
offerings. The department offers Intramural Sports, Sports
Clubs, Fitness and Wellness, Outdoor Recreation and Aquatics.
