New Student Orientation welcomes new students to Lamar University. Orientation also provides a time for you to register for your fall classes and begin your college journey. By attending New Student Orientation, you beat the lines and meet with the dean of your college, your academic advisor, and the financial aid office.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to tour the university, get information from student organizations, spend the night in Cardinal Village, learn from upper-class LU leaders, and meet other new students just like you!
