Airport
Pick Ups
As a service to our NEW
International Students, Lamar University will pick you up from
either the Houston or Beaumont Airport.
Here is what you need to
do:
E-mail-
airport.pickups@lamar.edu
Please include the
following:
1. A copy of your
itinerary
2. A list of everyone who
will be with you including their name and age
3. A US cell phone
number, if you have one
Here is what we will
do:
1. E-mail you back
verifying your e-mail
2. Within a week of your
arrival, e-mail you the name of and phone number of the person
who is picking you up
3. Pick you up and
bring you to your permanent or temporary housing.
Please understand that there
might be a delays based on weather or traffic or some
unforeseen reason. In that case,
please give a call to the phone number given to you and wait
at the phone booth. (Phone booths will be within the
terminal). While you wait, be watchful of your belongings
and be safe.
