Cardinal Learning Engagement And Development (LEAD) is dedicated to giving Freshmen support during their first steps into college. Some programs sponsored by LEAD include Learning Communities, Wings, and AAMP.

Cardinal Learning Engagement And Development will support the mission of Lamar University by offering faculty and students an enriched educational and supportive environment. Cardinal Learning Engagement And Development, through Learning Communities, WINGS mentoring, and AAMP, shall serve as a significant unit of the university to provide students with the improvement of direction, knowledge and growth in order to achieve success in the classroom and in life.
