The chemistry STAIRSTEP team currently consists of Chayne Bailey and Cindy Dozier. Please download a STAIRSTEP application and send it to Dr. Martin (or campus mail #10022) to apply.

Research - STAIRSTEP students conducting research with Dr. Martin investigate the behavior of folic acid and the resulting products resulting from exposure to light. We perform both laboratory experiments as well as theoretical calculations.

Outreach - STAIRSTEP students performing outreach with Dr. Martin help students to understand what types of topics are covered in a chemistry major in college and what jobs a degree in chemistry can offer.
(Oh yeah... and all that cool chemistry demo stuff too...)
