The Setzer Student Center is designed to meet the needs of Lamar students, faculty, and staff. Additionally, we extend an invitation to non university patrons to utilize our distinctive facilities.

The Center is an ideal setting for meetings, conferences and special events. We have 16 rooms that may be reserved for meeting/events. The capacity of each room varies. Our largest room will accommodate 600 people; while the smallest room can accommodate 10 people. The main arbor of the building has an area of ten spaces that may be utilized for marketing and special events.

A large parking lot is located adjacent to our building for convenient parking accommodations, and special sections are available for the handicapped. A covered area in front of the building is also available as an all-weather entrance.

The Setzer Student Center has standard audio-visual equipment available, including a sound system that may be utilized for your event. Trained technicians may be contracted to handle all of your specific needs.

A full service caterer is located on campus to serve all event needs. The dining service will give you customized assistance in planning your catered events.
