Welcome to Office of Professional Services

It is a great pleasure to welcome you to the Professional Services Center in the College of Education and Human Development.  Our goal is to provide the best services possible to ensure that our teacher educator candidates are prepared in knowledge, planning and instruction, assessment and reflection, and critical thinking to enter the changing world of today.

The Professional Services Center offers undergraduate advising, as well as post-baccalaureate advising for those who have earned a bachelor’s degree and want to pursue a teaching career.  We continue to make every effort for our educators to meet high standards through out our teacher education admission policies. Additionally, we serve our students through the TExES Office…this office helps prepare our students to be successful on the state mandated examinations and become licensed teachers in Texas.  Finally, we serve our students to be successful in following the guidelines set by the state to apply for their Texas Teaching Certificate.   

Our drive is to create the most beneficial educational experience possible to meet the challenge of an every-changing society.  Sharing ideals of superior preparation should produce an education system that binds us together.
