Available scholarships
Financial aid is available for eligible students. Information

In addition to university scholarships, scholarships specific
to the Department of Political Science are available. The scholarships
and the applicable criteria are listed below. Students should be aware
that there may be other criteria than those listed below, therefore they
should contact the department chair for further information regarding
eligibility and application.
David J. Beck Scholarship in Political Science.
Jack Brooks Scholarship in Government and Public Service.
This scholarship is awarded to students with a career
objective in the legal, governmental or teaching professions.
Consideration is based on leadership qualities, professional
potential, demonstrated scholarship, integrity and exemplary
character.
Carl D. Levy Memorial Scholarship in Arts and Sciences.
Pre-law students have priority. Consideration is based on
leadership qualities, professional potential and demonstrated
scholarship.
Viola Raney Memorial Scholarship.
Preference given to students specializing in Texas History
or Texas Government. Open to any Degree in History or Political
Science.
