Dr. Vanderleeuw is Professor of Political Science at Lamar University, Texas. He
holds a Ph.D. from the University of New Orleans. He offers various courses in
the Department's Masters in Public Administration program, including Urban
Policy, Administrative Theory, and Urban Economic Development. His research
interests include urban electoral behavior, local economic development, and
American political institutions. He has published articles in Social Science
Quarterly, Southeastern Review of Politics, Urban Affairs Review,
and the Texas Journal of Political Studies among others.
