Accreditation
The Lamar University JoAnne Gay Dishman Department of Nursing’s Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (ADN) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree programs are fully approved by the Texas Board of Nursing. (The Texas Board of Nursing does not approve the master’s degree program.)
The ADN, BSN and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree programs are fully accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) located at 3343 Peachtree Road NE, Suite 500, Atlanta, GA 30326.
The Dishman Department of Nursing wishes to announce that we will host a site review (October 20-22, 2009) for continuing accreditation of our ADN, BSN, and MSN degree programs. You are invited to meet with the visit team and share your comments about the programs in person at a public forum and reception on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 from 2:30 to 3:30 in the McFaddin Ward Health Science Building (room 103) at Lamar University. You may also submit written comments directly to:
