Graduate Program

The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers graduate programs leading to the award of the degree of Master of Engineering Science ( thesis option), Master of Engineering (non-thesis option) and Doctor of Engineering .  A limited number of Scholarships are awarded by Lamar University to students with high merit, that enables them to qualify for in state tuition.  The department has graduated several students in recent times in each of the three terminal degrees noted earlier.  Several research papers based on graduate student research have been presented at international conferences.
