Welcome to the Center for Doctoral Studies in Educational Leadership at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, where you can earn your Ed.D. in educational leadership in just eight semesters. Because our doctoral program is designed to meet the needs of full-time working professionals, classes meet face-to-face on approximately 7-9 weekends a semester. The program offers three cognates: effective schools, diversity/multiculturalism, and higher education.
In late January through mid-March, faculty members evaluate applications and accept students for cohorts that begin each fall. We invite you to contact us to learn more about our program.
