May be taken after completion of 12 semester hours.
Students should apply for candidacy after 12 hours.
Theories and Techniques of Counseling and Psychotherapy

CNDV 5311      Individual Counseling Theories and Techniques
CNDV 5312      Group Counseling Theories and Techniques
CNDV 5351      Consultation
CNDV 5380      Seminar in Counseling & Development
                            (THEORIES CLASS REQUIRED)


Level III - 3 Courses, 9 Hours
May be taken after completion of 24 semester hours.
Professional Development

CNDV 5310      Individual and Group Facilitation

Level IV - 2 Courses, 6 Hours
May be taken after completion of 30 semester hours.
Practicum: 300 Contact Hours - 2 Semesters (150 Hours each)/6Hours credit

Total for Master's Degree: 45 Semester Hours
* Vocational Counselor Certificate
Licensure as an LPC requires 48 semester hours.
