5. In a taste test, 250 people were asked which of the five light beers they preferred. The beers were labeled 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. The opinions are stored in file Chap6_data.
6. A growing concern at universities and colleges across North America is the number of professors who will retire in the next 5, 10 and 15 years. To examine the problem, Dr. Underdown took a random sample of 1000 professors and recorded their ages. These data are stored in file Chap6_data. Assuming the professors will retire at age 65,

8. The head coach of the Dallas Cowboys football team is trying to decide among three candidates for the position of punter. The coach knows that longer punts are desirable, but so is consistency, the coach has recorded the distance of the last 100 punts for each of the three candidates and stored them in file Chap6_data.
9. Airlines are rated on a number of dimensions, but for many passengers one of the most important is the frequency and magnitude of late arrivals and departures. Suppose that the amount of time that each departure was behind schedule was recorded for the last 250 departures for each of the 5 airlines and was stored in file Chap6_data.
