Questions and Answers
Question 1: Our team was
curious about what you meant on deliverable number two (websites, newspapers, articles,
etc.). What type of information are we looking for? Are we trying
to find other companies' examples of their planning strategies to develop
strategies for Dell, or are we trying to find Dell's planning strategies to
compare with other companies? We were having a debate over this, and was wondering if you could clarify.
Answer 1: Refer
to instruction number 2: Choose 1 goal and develop 3-4 CSF based on financial,
industry and environmental factors. I
want you to site the sources you used to develop a goal based on the
environmental factors. For example, if you found a website saying that Intel is
in bad shape, then Dell might have a goal to diversify their supplier base to
reduce their dependence on Intel. I want your goal to be supported by facts.
