Manufacturing Laboratory
The Manufacturing Laboratory in the Department of Industrial Engineering is located at Lucas Engineering Building Lucas 155. The lab is supervised by Dr. Weihang Zhu, Dr. Xinyu Liu and Mr. Sal Costa. The lab is equipped with 13 lathes, 1 CNC milling machine, 6 Microbot TeachMover II robots, grinding machines, drilling machines, band saws and other accessories. The lab is mainly used for teaching hands-on lab sessions in machining and other manufacturing processes. It also supports undergraduate senior design projects.
