Admission Requirements of BSIT
For admission to the program, the student must meet the following requirements:
1. Requires successful completion of an Associate of Applied Science degree at Lamar Institute of Technology (LIT) or other community college or other coursework composed of a minimum of 36 semester hours of related and sequential technical courses.
2. Technology courses beyond those specified in a major field must be approved by the Industrial Engineering Department
3. Admission to IT program will be granted, upon application, after completion of a minimum of 40 semester hours towards the associate of applied science degree or the engineering common program with a GPA of at least 2.00
