The
Student Health Center offers diagnostic lab tests to students at a very
reasonable charge. We receive special contract pricing from a local laboratory and offer the same special prices to our students
at little or no
profit to the Student Health Center.
Most specimens are collected by Health Center staff and sent to a local lab for processing. The time required to receive results varies
depending on the test. Several tests can be done in the clinic by Health
Center staff and yield immediate results. These include tests for
urinary tract infection (urinalysis), pregnancy, influenza, mono, vaginitis,
and strep.
