Health Education

The goal of the Student Health Center is to give you a same day appointment.
If the volume of patients prevents this, you will be offered the first available opening that is appropriate for your visit.
SERVICES

The Health Education Department is an integral part of the Student Health Center. Qualified licensed medical professionals provide health education and outreach to Lamar University and Lamar Institute of Technology students through programs, presentations, individual consultations, referrals, brochures and pamphlets, campus-wide events. Our events include health fairs, blood drives and immunization clinics. All education services are free and confidential. Please call at least two weeks in advance. Our goal in health education is to enhance student learning and personal development through health education and promotion.
