The
Health Education Department is an integral part of the Student Health Center
(SHC). Qualified
licensed medical professionals
provide health education and outreach to Lamar
University and Lamar Institute of Technology students through programs,
presentations, individual consultations, referrals,
brochures and pamphlets,
and campus wide events (Health Fairs, Blood Drives, etc.). All services are
free and confidential. Pre-arrangement with adequate advanced notice is
required.
