Ms. Foreman joined the Lamar University Student
Health Center in 1987, and
has served the Student Health Center in several different
capacities including staff nurse and interim director, and is now the
Assistant Director of the Student Health Center and responsible for managing
the Health Center pharmacy and coordinating Health Education programming.
She was born in Port Arthur, Texas and has spent most of her life in this
area.
Ms. Foreman graduated from Thomas
Jefferson High School and received an Associate Degree in Nursing from Lamar
University. She has been certified as a College Health Nurse
Specialist since 1991. Prior to her affiliation with Lamar
University, Ms. Foreman's nursing experience included:
medical/surgical nursing, spinal cord and stroke rehab, hemo-dialysis, and
charge nurse responsibilities.
Ms. Foreman is married and has two
grown children. She enjoys working in the yard, creating arts and
crafts, and designing various publications on computer. |
