Distance Learning uses the World Wide Web to deliver course content and enables communication between instructor and students. Distance learning courses provide flexibility and can be completed from home, office or on campus. The convenience of distance learning means you can pursue your degree without leaving your community or a job you value. Lamar University's asynchronous format allows you to log in any time to complete assignments and participate in class discussion. Only an internet connection is required to access courses through the Blackboard course management system.
