The Center for General Studies has developed a program to help students who are experiencing academic difficulties. This program is called Monitored Probation. Monitored Probation is designed to help students maintain good academic standing and achieve their academic goals by offering monitoring, study skills instruction, and academic and career counseling."GOOD ACADEMIC STANDING"General Studies students are expected to maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 ("C") or better - this is considered "good academic standing."
