The Bachelor of General Studies will be awarded upon completion
of 120 semester credit hours that meet the following requirements:

 

     1. Core Curriculum (48 hours): refer to the university General Catalog for course requirement.

     2. Elective hours (42 hours): elective courses as selected by the student and approved by advisor.

     3. Advanced elective hours (30 hours):

• selected courses must be at the 3000 - 4000 level

• selected courses must consist of at least 9 hours in each of 3 disciplines

• at least 12 hours must be at the 4000 level

4. Grade Point Average:

• A minimum grade point average of 2.0 in all advanced elective coursework.

• A minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0.
