Call for Papers/ Presentations -Education Today: Trends and Research

     You are invited to submit abstracts and/or papers to the Committee for Research Presentations related to the general conference theme:

Education Today: Trends and Research

This year you have the option of submitting a paper along with your abstract. Peer reviewers will select two exceptional papesr for publication in our Conference Proceedings.

Submitted abstracts and/or papers must address the following:
Abstracts: Maximum 150-words; Papers: Maximum 2000 words
• Title Page (Page 1) with Author(s) Information; Indicate Presentation Type
• Maximum 150-word Abstract (Page 2)
    • Paper begins Page 3 (no running header)
• Address:  Research Design, Method, Results, Conclusions
• Data collection/Study within last 3 years
• Detailed Abstract and Paper Submission Guidelines are available elsewhere on this website.

Abstracts and/or Papers should be submitted in one of the following ways:
• Via email (by midnight Feb 15, 2008)  mailto:siskda@my.lamar.edu

     # Submit as attachment(s) formatted in Microsoft Word (Refer to submission guidelines)

Accepted abstracts and or papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings and may be published in Lamar University College of Education's online journal.

Abstracts and/or papers will be blind, peer-reviewed by individuals with knowledge in specific topic areas. Acceptance decisions will be made by March 12, 2008. Should your abstract be accepted, you will be notified by email. Paper submitters will be separately notified and may be asked to make editorial changes. (Please keep us updated on any email or address changes.)
