Tuition
Payment is due at the time of registration. You may register by phone, mail, fax, or in person. You may pay with exact cash, check, purchase order, money order, or credit card. Registrations are processed in the order received and courses are closed when the enrollment limit is achieved.

Parking Fees
Parking permits are available from the NCP office. Permits are priced according to the length of the class, and are valid only for the duration of the class. For one-day seminars, special one-day passes are included in the tuition, and are distributed on the day of the seminar.

Special Payment Methods
NCP is glad to accept payment by third parties (employers, companies or agencies). To pay for classes, the third party must agree through submission of a purchase order or statement on company letterhead that the company will agree to pay all fees regardless of the student痴 attendance or performance. Payment arrangements must be made prior to the start of the class.

Cancellation of Classes 
   due to Low Enrollment
Courses must meet minimum enrollment. You will be notified as early as possible concerning cancellations. If the course for which you are registered is canceled, you may either request that your fee be transferred to another course, or receive a full refund.

Textbooks & Supplies
You will be notified if the course you池e registering for requires any extra books and/or supplies. Textbooks are available at the Barnes & Noble Bookstore on Campus. Call 409-880-8342 for prices and store hours. Books may also be purchased through independent vendors. Supply lists will be distributed for courses with special materials.

Grading Policy
Non-diploma courses are awarded a satisfactory or unsatisfactory grade depending on attendance. Certificate programs issue grades and maintain student transcripts. Issuance of CEUs and certificates are based on satisfactory completion of the course.

Certificates/Transcripts
Certificates of completion are available in most NCP continuing education classes and are distributed upon successful completion of the course. A certificate reprint is available for a $5 fee. CEUs ($15) are only available for designated professional workshops and seminars that have met the official CEU guideline and criteria. Transcripts are available for a $5 fee from our office. Please allow two weeks for processing any of these items.

Financial Aid
Non-Credit Programs is a self-supporting department and cannot offer financial aid to potential students.

Don稚 give up yet! There may be a student loan especially for our healthcare courses available for students who qualify.

Dropped Courses
A $50 drop fee will be charged for all healthcare courses.

To receive a FULL REFUND less the $50 FEE, you must contact the Continuing Education Department 5 or more working days PRIOR to the first class day.

To receive a PARTIAL (80%) REFUND, less the $50 FEE, you must contact the Continuing Education Department PRIOR to the first class day.

- NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AFTER A CLASS HAS STARTED.

Refund Policy
A $10 fee will be charged for refund requests.

Tuition Refund Schedule:

At least 5 working days PRIOR to class a student may receive a full refund minus $10 fee by notifying the Continuing Education office.

- A least 3 working days PRIOR to class a student may receive 80% minus $10 feeby notifying the Continuing Education office.

Less than 3 working days PRIOR to the class NO REFUNDS

will be issued.

Please allow 4-6 weeks for refund checks to be processed. Refunds for credit card payments will be processed in 1 week.

Other Info

Non-Credit Programs reserves the right to cancel any class, make instructor and/or course substitutions, change dates and/or pricing without prior notice.

1. By Mail: Complete a registration form (PDF version on this page) and return it to Non-Credit Programs, Lamar University, PO Box 10008 Beaumont, TX 77710. Include your check or money order made out to Lamar University or enter your credit card information in the space provided.

2. Fax: Fax your completed registration form with your credit card info and total fees due to: 409-880-1832.

3. Walk-In: Come by our office, Room 103B of the Montagne Center. Have your payment information ready. If paying by cash, please bring the exact amount, as change is unavailable.

4. Phone: You may register over the phone with a credit/debit card by calling 409-880-2233.

5. Online: Go here to complete the online registration form. You must enter your credit/debit card information to be successfully
registered for a course.
