Preparing for a Career

In today's world, a sound education is the first step toward an individual's personal transformation into a successful professional. In addition to the excellent faculty and state-of-the-art technology and equipment, our students have access to the wealth of enriching pre-professional opportunities in the greater Beaumont community.

As a part of the Lamarissimo! series, our Music and Dance students have performed in the local auditoriums and performance venues that regularly house national touring companies. Students from the Theatre division annually perform in the nationally acclaimed Dickens on the Strand Festival in Galveston each December, and regularly bring playwriting workshops and children's theatre productions to area schools. Our Art students have exhibited their works several of the many museums throughout the Beaumont area. Internships and mentorships with local professionals are emphasized in the Communication, Deaf Studies and Deaf Education, and Speech and Hearing Sciences departments as well.
