The Lamar Theatre program works basically in three spaces year round:

• The University Theatre
  A 500 seat house with proscenium opening of 48 feet. The space is used for large musical productions, Children’s Theatre productions, University-wide speaking engagements and music events. It houses a spacious lobby, two dressing rooms, the costume shop and storage, scenic shop, paint shop and loading dock. The space is equipped with a state-of-the art sound system.
  
  
• The Studio Theatre
  A flexible seating space commonly called the Black Box. The open space of approximately 60 feet x 60 feet is able to be configured into proscenium, arena, thrust and other venues of seating. An intimate space for performances, this space has housed musicals, dramas, comedies and "in-your-face" productions.
  
  
• The Classroom Theatre
  A much smaller space seating about 20-30 for use by classes in the day and rehearsals and performances at night. The CAD lab is located off of this space.
