Dance Intermediate/Advanced Level Technique Classes

Dance majors, minors and non-majors wishing to register for intermediate/advanced level technique classes must audition for placement. Auditions will be held at 1 p.m., Nov. 20, 2009, for the spring 2010 semester, and 1 p.m. April 16, 2009, for the fall 2010 semester. Auditions are held in HHPA 208 and consist of ballet, modern and jazz. Current or potential Lamar students need to wear black jazz pants and a close fitting black top such as a leotard, camisole or fitted t-shirt. Ballet slippers and/or jazz shoes are required. Long hair must be pulled back and dancers should not wear jewelry. Please call 409-880-7799 to reserve a space at auditions or for more information about auditions.
