Dr. Roth earned a B.A. from New York University, and a M.A. and Ph.D. from Florida State University. In addition to his professional work in radio and television, his research is published in scholarly journals of the humanities, philosophy, English, cinema and communication. He has written an academic book on film theory as well as chapters in other scholarly books on film. His biography appears in Marquis Who's Who in America and Marquis Who's Who in the World.
