Dr. Elliott has 12 years experience as a reporter, assignment editor, producer, health segment editor and news director at ABC and NBC affiliates in Lubbock, Texas. He earned his master's in broadcast journalism in 1992 at Texas Tech University and his Ph.D. in mass communication in 1995 from the University of Florida. Dr. Elliott teaches classes in broadcast, mass media, and media writing.
