Courses
Courses offered through the Center for Distance Education include courses offered via Interactive Video, Online courses and Off-campus courses. Students wishing to register for credit courses must first be admitted to Lamar University. Distance Learning Fee Information
For students enrolled in Distance Learning classes ONLY, the following university fees will be waived: Health Center Fee - $30, Property Deposit Fee-$10 and the Setzer Center Fee-$30. All distance education courses (online, telecourse, off-campus, and interactive) are accessed a $25 per credit hour Distance Learning Fee. Credit hours are indicated by the second digit of the course number. All Distance Learning Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE after 12th class day for Fall and Spring Semesters, 4th class day for Summer sessions, and 1st class day for mini-sessions.

ADA Compliance
The Office of Services for Students with Disabilities (SFSWD) offers a variety of services designed to assist students with disabilities in becoming fully participating members of the university community. Some of the services provided include academic accommodations, assistive equipment, interpreters, note-takers, physical access and priority registration.
