The Passport through Lamar program offers students unsurpassed
opportunities for professional growth. A pilot version of the program
was launched in the Spring 2009 semester for the College of Business.
The program is comprised of three categories: professional development,
experiential learning, and community connections.
The way the program works:
Each Event is worth a certain amount of points, depending on the
category.
Students receive credit for every event they attend upon the receipt
of a stamp at an event, or by turning in a
Passport Request Form
Passports are considered complete once the participant has attained
400 points.
Participating students will receive:
For every event the student attends, their name will be entered into a
drawing at the end of the month. A prize, provided by the Career and
Testing Center, will be granted to the winning student.
All students who complete their Passport will receive a $25 gift card
to Barnes and Noble.
MBA Students who complete their Passport will receive a $250
scholarship.
For College of Business Students who complete their Passports will be
entered into a drawing to win a $1,500 scholarship sponsored by the
College of Business. This scholarship is to be used in the following

Currently, this program is only being offered to College of Business
