The Educators’ Career Fair provides an
excellent opportunity for education professionals and school districts
to recruit Lamar University’s students and alumni. Sponsored in part by
the College of Education and the Career and Testing center, this event
focuses specifically on those employers wishing to recruit highly
qualified educators. All education majors and those seeking
certification in their fields of study are encouraged to attend, while
it is a requirements for student teachers.

We screen employers in order to
diversify industry representation at the fair, limit affiliated groups
to one table and protect students from sales promotions, multilevel
marketing and questionable recruiting practices.
The purpose of this event is to inform students and alumni about
organizations, internships and job opportunities. Graduate Programs,
Recruiting Firms, and Professional Organizations will be admitted if
space permits. Priority is given to organizations recruiting for
full-time degreed level positions, internships and co-ops.
