is a University Core course that fulfils the laboratory science requirement. It
offers a consideration of the human systems in a less chemical approach that is
less threatening to non-majors. He has developed a laboratory manual to
accompany the lecture, Focus on Biology ,
published by Kendall-Hunt.

Biology I and II.
The
beginning college course for majors and those planning to enter a professional
school. In
collaboration with professors Jed Ramsey and Richard Harrel, a laboratory
manual, Laboratory Investigations in
Biology,
has
been written for this course sequence. It is also published through Kendall-Hunt
and has been revised through several editions.

2420 Microbiology
: A
consideration of the harmful and beneficial impact of microorganisms on humans
and other organisms. This course serves biology and pre-professional students
and also large numbers of students hoping to enter the allied health sciences,
including nursing.

of local insects is completed as a part of the laboratory.
