Templeton Thompson

Templeton Thompson draws from a deep well of influences, (from Emmylou Harris to Don Williams to Bonnie Raitt to Sheryl Crow,) that combine with her Texas roots to give her style of country music a distinctive, soulful edge.

As a songwriter, Templeton has found her niche among Nashville's elite. You can find her songs on Million-selling CD's from country superstars like Reba McEntire and Jo Dee Messina and on the latest release from Sherrie' Austin, "Streets of Heaven."

As a singer, she's one of Nashville's sought after session vocalists and she has performed on stage for audiences around the US, in Europe and in Japan. She is a featured artist and contributing writer on "voices from afar" a CD created to benefit Compass Point, (formerly The American Foundation for Addiction Research.)

Templeton's first solo CD entitled "i remember you," combines her love for music and her love of horses. She is an avid horsewoman and has completed her Level 1 training with EAGALA as a horse professional in the field of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of "i remember you" is being donated to EAGALA. (the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association).

Currently, Templeton is maintaining a very busy touring schedule in support of her most recent release "i still feel". Her new single, "If I Didn't Need The Money", released in June of 2004, spent 7 weeks in the Top 10 on The Texas Music Chart. Templeton's current CD, "i still feel", was selected by Texas DJs and program directors as one of the top CDs of 2004. Find more information on her website.
