Kenneth W. Pajak

Ken Pajak practices Entertainment Law in Austin, Texas with The Bannerot Law Firm, P.C. As a native of southeast Texas, he attended Lamar University and earned a B.S. in Political Science and Speech Communication. After flirting with the music industry for a few years, he decided to pursue a legal career with an emphasis on the legal aspects of the entertainment industry. While attending law school in Houston, he attended SXSW in Austin for the first time and easily decided to make Austin his home.

Ken's experience includes representing clients in a variety of issues involving music, film, and multimedia. His film clients include independent filmmakers, screenplay writers, actors, directors, producers, production companies, investors, and talent agents. Ken's music clients include composers, artists, songwriters, musicians, radio personalities, radio stations, managers, booking agencies, talent agent investors, and entertainment industry businesses in a wide variety of matters. In addition, Ken is often faced with legal issues concerning software manufacturers, computer programmers, and software developers. He has successfully created and protected Copyrights, Trademarks and Trade Secrets. Furthermore, he has drafted, negotiated, and litigated on behalf of music, film and multimedia clients in matters concerning licensing issues, royalties, complex entertainment contract disputes, and collections. Ken is also an active Mediator of disputes and is in tune with the special estate planning needs of the entertainment professional.
