7th Annual Spindletop Film Festival set for Nov. 10-12, 2006

The film festival is a great way to meet Hollywood insiders and professionals involved in all aspects of filmmaking, from directors to composers, and animators to cinematographers.

The 2005 speakers included award-winning actors Irma P. Hall and William Atherton, director Stuart Gordon, filmmaker Sandy Color, animators, musicians and others who know how Hollywood works and how to work Hollywood.

In 2005, Gordon joined the festival in paying tribute to Texas art-director Robert A. Burns, who died in May 2004. Hall, a Beaumont native, was honored at the festival and inducted into the Southeast Texas Filmmaker Hall of Fame. For a complete copy of the 2005 schedule of events click here.
