Introduction
Lamar University is pleased to present the Mirabeau Scholars program
for students with exceptionally strong academic records. Only a
limited number of these outstanding four-year, full scholarships
are available. The scholarships are awarded each fall to first-time-in-college freshmen (dual-enrollment, CLEP, and/or AP credits are not
disqualifying).
High school teachers, counselors and administrators are encouraged
to nominate qualifed students to be considered for this prestigious
award. Students themselves may also apply.
Mirabeau Scholars receive “full” scholarships consisting
of tuition, fees, on-campus room, board and book stipend.
