George A. Dishman Sr. Presidential Scholarship
Major/Degree Required: BS - Nursing
Overall/Major GPA Required: Must maintain a 3.0 grade point average to remain on scholarship
Class Level Requirements: Initially awarded to an incoming freshman who has declared pre-nursing as their major.
Class Load Requirements: Must be a full time nursing student as defined by the University Bulletin
SAT/ACT Score Requirements: SAT score of 1050 or better and should be in the top 15% of high school class.
Other Requirements: The intent of a "Presidential Scholarship" is to provide a significant financial award to an incoming freshman who has just graduated from high school. The student may remain on the scholarship for eight long semesters as long as they are in good standing with the University and maintain the criteria stated. Multiple students may be added only when the return on investment generates sufficient funds for additional awardees.
