Beaumont Music Commission Scholarship in Honor of Charlene Kiker

Major/Degree Required: The award is specifically designated for music majors with first preference given to those students whose major applied area is either piano or strings. If there are no qualified piano or string students who meet the criteria, then the scholarship may be awarded to any music major.

Overall/Major GPA Required: None for application, but must maintain overall 2.5 GPA for continuation of scholarship.

Class Level Requirements: Open to all undergraduate students in the College of Fine Arts and Communication.

Class Load Requirements: Full-time student in a given program as specified in the University Bulletin for the given major.

SAT/ACT Score Requirements: Minimum scores established by the College of Fine Arts and Communication Scholarship Committee.

Other Requirements: In order to qualify for this award, the student, regardless of applied major area, must demonstrate a level of proficiency that would indicate a probability of success in the undergraduate study of music.
