Major/Degree Required: Open to any major

Overall/Major GPA Required: Minimum 2.0 GPA

Class Level Requirements: The scholarship will go to an entering freshman.

Class Load Requirements: Full-time student in a given program

Other Requirements: Preference shall be given to students graduating from Memorial High School in Port Arthur, Texas. If no student from Memorial High School meets the stated criteria, then students from other mid- and south county high schools may be considered. Recipient should be in the top 15% of his/her graduating class, a person of high moral character and be considered a good citizen by the high school and university administration.
