Welcome to Lamar University 's department of Administrative Systems. The Administrative Systems Department provides analysis and programming for new computerized systems as well as maintenance and upgrades to existing systems for Lamar University, Lamar Institute of Technology and Lamar State College - Orange .  Data editing information, error analysis service, and program and system documentation are provided for all production applications.  The primary aim is to maintain an Administrative Systems Department able to serve the Lamar community in the effective use of information technology while providing systems analysis, design, and programming services to users on a timely and professional basis.

Specific areas supported include:

·         Sungard Higher Education Financial, Student, Financial Aid and Human Resources applications

·         Web for Students, Web for Faculty, Web for Employees and Luminis Web Portal integration

·         FOCUS query language
