B-1 May apply, but must be re-classified to F- or J-visa status before study may begin

Students holding the following visas are not required to submit the financial confirmation:

J-2 Part-time or full-time
H Part-time or full-time
L-1 Part-time only
L-2 Part-time or full-time
R-1 Full-time only

Transfer students already in the United States must hold valid "F" or "J" visa and a valid I-94 card. These students must be currently enrolled or have just completed the latest semester at the school last authorized to attend by the Immigration and Naturalization Service. The previous school must provide a letter verifying the student's dates of enrollment; otherwise, the immigration documents cannot be issued.
