Transportation
Air transportation is available to the Jefferson County Airport via connections out of Houston or Dallas from the Houston Intercontinental or Hobby airports near Houston, about 85 miles from Beaumont. If flight schedules are provided soon enough, the LLI staff will make every effort to assist in meeting flights arriving at the Jefferson County airport. Students are urged to continue flights to Beaumont, since transportation from Houston can be quite expensive.

Health Insurance
All F-1 students in the Lamar Language Institute must carry and purchase health plan coverage from the campus’ healthcare provider, Academic Health Plans, which will be the insurance carrier for the 2009-2010 academic year.
