Admission is open to:
· Students needing English proficiency adequate for future university study
· Employers and employees of area businesses and industries
· Corporate groups seeking specialized language training
· Lamar University students and their adult family members
· Other non-native persons interested in further English language study
Prospective International students should send the following items:
· Application form
· Non-refundable $50 application fee (for Spring 2010 and Summer 2010) $75 for Fall 2010
· Financial confirmation form if required for prospective student's visa category
· Housing application with $100 deposit, if applicable
· TOEFL score if available
Prospective Permanent Resident Students should complete this form
And there is no application fee for local residents and unrestricted VISA holders.
Admission to the Lamar Language Institute does not guarantee admission to Lamar University.
