Admission is open to:

• Students needing English proficiency adequate for future university study

• Employers and employees of area businesses and industries

• Corporate groups seeking specialized language training

• Lamar University students and their adult family members

• Other non-native persons interested in further English language study
  

Prospective students should send the following items:

• Application form

• Non-refundable $50 application fee

• Financial confirmation form if required for prospective student's visa category

• Housing application with $100 deposit, if applicable

• TOEFL score if available

Admission to the Lamar Language Institute does not guarantee admission to Lamar University.
