The Lamar Language Institute (LLI) of Lamar University-Beaumont offers a comprehensive program to increase English language proficiency for persons whose first language is not English. The Institute offers a full-time (minimum of 20 hours per week) course at various proficiency levels. Students who are eligible to do so may enroll for part-time study. Immigration status determines this eligibility. Small classes allow ample opportunity for individual participation.

We are located in the Maes Building, Room O-56, on the second floor.
